Data we collect

For licensing and account purposes, the Voxa Player TV app sends the following to our servers: the TV's MAC address, TV model and webOS version, app version, language and IP address. If you create an account on the website, your email address and (hashed) password are stored.

Playlists

Playlist URLs and credentials you add are stored only to deliver them to your TV; passwords are stored encrypted. The content or channels you watch and your viewing history are never sent to our servers; viewing history stays on your TV.

Payments

Card payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details never reach us; we only store the payment status, amount and receipt email.

Purpose

Data is used only to manage the device licence, deliver your playlists to your TV, prevent abuse and provide support. Your data is never sold or used for advertising.

Retention and deletion

Data is kept while the service is in use. To have your device or account deleted, write to support@voxapanel.com.

Cookies

The website uses only essential cookies for the session and language preference; no tracking or advertising cookies.

Third-party services

To show posters, cast and descriptions of movies and series, the TV app sends requests containing the title to The Movie Database (TMDB); your TV's IP address reaches TMDB with these requests. No personal data, viewing history or playlist information is shared with TMDB. Card payments are processed only on the website via Stripe.

Where data is stored

Our servers are located in Germany (OVH data centre). Data is stored and processed within the European Union.
